Ask Questions in a Familiar Voice

Until now, questions delivered during a Storii call were read by an automated voice. While functional, we always knew there was an opportunity to make that moment feel warmer.

With our latest update, you can now record yourself asking a question directly within Storii, or upload an audio file of someone asking it on your behalf. That means a grandchild can record a question in their own words, and their grandparent will hear it in their voice — before sharing a memory, a story, or a piece of wisdom that might otherwise have gone untold.

To keep calls focused, questions are limited to 120 words or 15 seconds. Custom audio questions can be added from any storyteller's profile under Upcoming Questions.

Listen to Recordings by Phone

We also want Storii to be accessible to everyone, including users who rely on a landline or who find screen-based access difficult. That's why we've introduced a phone playback option that lets users call the Storii number and listen to their life story recordings without needing a computer or smartphone.

Once connected, callers can browse recordings by date, jump to their most recent or oldest story, or let Storii play a random one. Every user is assigned a 4-digit PIN for secure access, and anyone who needs one can request it on the spot during the call.
